Why is The Radiohole Worthy of Support?
Though 'theater' has been around for many years, 97% of the population still does not actually see 'theater' - either because they do not have access to it or because they choose to watch TV. The bigger reason, though, is that TV networks, must be market-driven to remain in business. If a network is not financially profitable, it will cease to exist. It's that simple.
The Radiohole, by contrast, is a mission-driven educational service that does not have to operate under a mandate of commercial obligations and marketplace pressures.
TV might find it difficult to make any profits from providing an educational enterprise like The Radiohole. If there were profits to be made, commercial broadcasters would already be engaging in such ventures.
Your support of The Radiohole allows us to continue to be the 'first' with other types of programs - to take risks and bring you new types of programs that TV won't offer.

Why Do You Run All Those Rent Parties?
We realize that our rent parties are sometimes inconvenient for our viewers. That's why we take steps to alert our viewers and members in advance of the parties.
Frankly, rent parties offer the best, most straightforward way for us to communicate directly with our viewers especially those people who watch but don't support. Radiohole does utilize other means of fundraising like direct mail and telemarketing but our rent parties continue to be the most successful way for us to reach new supporters.

Is My Gift Tax Deductible?
The Radiohole is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. When you make a contribution of any dollar amount to The Radiohole, your gift is fully tax-deductible. The only exception to full tax-deductibility is when you receive a tangible benefit in exchange for your contribution. In such cases, the fair market value will need to be subtracted from the total contribution amount.
For example, if you make a gift of $75 and request a Radiohole logo totebag valued at $10, the total deductibility of your gift is $65.
After you've made a gift to The Radiohole, they will advise you of any benefit that carries a fair market value. That way, you can make the decision to decline the benefit and claim the full tax deductibility of your contribution.
Please direct all other concerns related to Tax Deductions to the Radiohole: 718-388-2251.
